Our mission is to empower, educate and encourage the most vulnerable children and families in the Antelope Valley. Our vision is to spread joy to children and families thru practical service.

Some of those we serve are children and families in homeless shelters, transitional homes, domestic violence shelters and foster care.

We have 2 programs to accomplish the mission. F.I.T. Families in Transition program and YL4L Young Learners For Life. (Please visit our Programs page for details).

Thru these 2 programs we host donation drives (for career clothing, shoes, purses and books), adopt-a-school to meet young at-risk scholars needs and provide career development services for vulnerable families.

The Project Joy college scholarship fund to assist youth who have overcome extreme odds, accepts applications every March.

We have an on-going need for volunteers and love engaging our youth as that’s the very essence of Project Joy (youth giving back to other youth).

Everything we do is carefully designed to empower, educate and encourage our youth and adult participants. Every project we undertake has the ultimate goal of spreading joy.

Please see our upcoming events, wish list and ongoing volunteer opportunities.
